Why won't they retire?

It seems that some video game companies just won't let there former celebs retire and end on a good note. I mean does Pac-man need around 15 or so games? Frogger over 16? Mario in a game or 2 at least every year? the answer NO. These companies just seem to milk their once great stars. Nintendo's Mario having the most success. The one I find the worst of all of them is the continual production of mediocre at best Sonic the Hedgehog games. Lets face it Sonic hasnt really seen a good game since the dreamcast. Sega just seems happy pushing their crap down our throats and expecting us to buy it because it has our fave childhood star in it. Well I am tired of it and will not be buying into another sonic game until they shape up. I suggest the other companies do that as well. Really the newer versions of Frogger and Pac-man are crap unless they are just updated versions of the originals or things Ms.Pac-man or Pac-man jr which were just pac man in drag or dressed as a kid with a beanie. As for mario your games are at least playable and have fun gameplay most of the time. On another note, still loving sonic cartoons lol
